How to Copy a YouTube Link
Every conversion starts with a copied link. The button hides in a different place depending on the link type, so here is each one.
In the YouTube app (phone or tablet)
- Open the video, Short, or clip.
- Tap Share (below the video, or on the Short itself).
- Tap Copy link.
For YouTube Music: open the track, tap the three dots, Share, Copy link.
On desktop
- Open the video, Short, clip, or replay.
- Copy the address bar URL, or right-click the video and choose Copy link.
- For a link that starts at the current moment, tick "Start at" before copying (the timestamp is ignored by the converter; you still get the full audio).
From an embedded player
- Right-click the embedded player on the website.
- Choose Copy video URL.
- If that menu does not appear, click the YouTube logo in the player to open the video, then copy the address bar link.

Common mistakes
- Copying the channel page instead of the video.
- Copying the source video instead of the clip (clip URLs contain /clip/). See clip to MP3.
- Copying a playlist URL; paste individual video links instead. See supported links.
