YouTube Live Stream to MP3
Concerts, podcasts, gaming sessions, Q and As: live streams hold hours of audio worth keeping. Completed streams (replays and VODs) convert to MP3 here. Ongoing live streams do not, because the audio is not finished yet.
How to convert a replay
- Confirm the stream has ended. The video page should show a normal player with a timeline, not a "LIVE" badge.
- Copy the replay link. Share, Copy link, or the address bar.
- Paste it into ClipConverter and press Convert.
- Download the MP3. Long replays may take longer to process.
Why ongoing streams do not work
A live stream is still being written while it airs. There is no finished file to fetch the audio from, so conversion cannot start. Come back after the stream ends and the replay is published.
Replay tips
- Long replays: multi-hour streams produce large MP3s; make sure your device has space.
- Unlisted replays: if the creator left the replay unlisted, the link still converts as long as you have it.
- Deleted replays: if the creator removed the replay, nothing can convert it. See why some videos cannot convert.
